Window Cleaning Tips:
1. If for some reason your house is “egged” – use warm soapy water and a wash cloth to remove. Use the razor blades to the professionals that have the correct equipment.
2. If your glass appears “foggy” it is probably due to a broken seal. Replacement is the only option.
Types of Damage to Glass:
Scratched Glass/Surface Damage -Staining from mortar, air conditioner drain line, sprinkler system or scratches from improper cleaning or scratches from home construction.
Mineral Deposits – Sprinkler directly coats windows with water, deposits build up over a period of time. The glass can be restored with the proper use of chemicals.
Foggy Glass – Broken seals in the thermal pane glass. Replacement is the only option.
Pitted Glass – From power washing concrete surfaces close to the glass or gravel from weed eaters.
BEWARE; there are many cut rate window cleaners that are trying to make a quick buck. They charge ridiculously low prices and at the end of the day, leave you liable for potential injury claims, and never to be found again. If the price is too good to be true, you bet it is!
